A little bit about me
Working at the intersection of education and technology.
Working at the intersection of education and technology.
For over 28 years, my passion has been innovation at the intersection of education, curriculum, and technology. I began my career in academic publishing, first with Pearson and then later with Ascend Learning, where I helped catalyze organizational transformation by designing and developing new educational technologies and learning applications. More recently, I co-founded and served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer for Acrobatiq, an adaptive learning start-up by Carnegie Mellon University, later acquired by the Ingram Content Group.
Today, I am Senior Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. My work here focuses on developing and implementing high-quality, affordable, and equitable digital learning solutions proven to help students learn more effectively and efficiently. Our vision is to create a future where all students – especially Black, Latino, and low-income students – have an equitable opportunity to earn a degree or certificate that prepares them for a successful career and life.
